Open. The Simple Move

The simple move is open. How do you make it hard? I wonder…

Sometimes in situations, money in particular, we make matters worse by holding tight to an idea or belief. (e.g. “I will never be able to save enough.” “Money inequities are unfair.”) The belief is clouded with a dense emotion like fear, doubt or shame causing more contraction; our presence is dull and it feels really hard. Our ego protects the entire situation to keep a familiar game going.  Bar none, the simplest move to create ease is open. How? Note the instruction “move”.  Bring openness to your situation by moving your body.  Move your body with breath, shifting posture, walking, dancing, and any way that repositions the stagnant space of your being.  Movement opens awareness so that new ways of seeing emerge.

How do you stay closed and make it hard? I wonder…
