Cherish Every Moment?

Do you cherish every moment?  I wonder…

Tomorrow is my 25th wedding anniversary. Gratefully I can say that I am happier now in my marriage than I was when we said “I do”. And I was very happy when we married! So what has happened over the past two and a half decades to make happy happiest? I’ve learned to cherish every moment.

Cherishing every moment looks like this: I see more in every situation. My heart is soft with untold joy and heartbreak.  I laugh a lot, and regularly at myself.  Gratitude permeates the field of life.  Clarity is bright and getting brighter. Money doesn’t matter much. Really?

Yes, money matters up until a certain stage and then blessings (painful and sweet) give us the opening to experience money in a mature way.  This means I value moments more than money. The practices of cherishing, seeing, softening, laughing, appreciating and loving allow us to realize money maturity.

What do you cherish? Where does money fit in? Are you valuing the moments? I wonder…

p.s  happy anniversary, my love…. let’s do 25 more.
