What’s your response when your instructions manifest the polar opposite outcome?  I wonder…

Our little Cavalier King Charles now sports a dullet (a dog mullet). As described by my son, “business on top and a party below”. The grooming is unusual and the exact opposite of our request. I asked the groomer to shorten her fur underneath her belly for the summer; you know, a “summer doo”.  When she returned to us, we observed a very short cut on top and long hair hanging from her belly below; quite odd.

Oh well, it will grow out, eventually. And in the meantime, Amber is trend-setting with the newest look for dogs, a dullet. Some requests really matter. Some don’t.  How tight do you hold on to “your way”?

Are you able to lighten up and see the perfection even in mishaps? I wonder…
